Hello folks, I am trying to find further family connections for my great grandparents: Hannah Tompkins (b) abt. 1838 in New Brunswick Province that married Nicholas Minard Shannon May 9, 1860 in Addington Co., Ontario. Hannah and N. M. lived in Thamesville, Kent Co. abt. Feb,1869 where my grandfather George Shannon was born. They then moved to the Napanee, Lennox & Addington Co. area in early June, 1869 where N. M. joined the Royal Orange Institution, Lodge #358 at Napanee. The next information we have on them is that they immigrated through New York to Harwood, Gonzales Co., Texas sometime around 1876 where they settled until their deaths, Hannah in 1906 and N.
