Hi Marilyn Both men were born about 1840 in Ireland. First found in 1871 Sunbury census. Not found in the 1851 census for Sunbury. I am aware of the Nelson, Robert and Newton Guthrie's of Charlotte County. I cannot see any particular relationship EXCEPT they each had sons called Percy. I could only back them up to the 1881 census for these Charlotte County men, so I don't know if William and James were in Charlotte early on, before removing to Sunbury. Any ideas?
