Mary Jane Bazzley born 1846 Hillsborough, Albert, NB, Canada to David Bazzley and Margaret Hopper both from NB. The Bazzley name doesn't change to Bazley till about 1881 census where they are then listed as English, David Bazzley's father William Donaldson Bazzley is of German descent they were loyalists from New York and his mother Alice Henaby Crossman is of Irish descent born NS came to NB about 1800. William Donaldson Bazzley 2nd (David Bazzley's brother) married Elizabeth Steeves these 2 families entwine often. Nora Steeves (NO "H") born 10 Mar 1871, Hillsborough, Albert, NB married 15 Jun 1892 in Cambridge, Middlesex, MA (not Salem) David Albert Fraser born 15 Jul 1866 Nova Scotia to Walter Smith Fraser (descendants off the Hector) born 1833 NS and Harriet Elizabeth Wilcox born 06 Jul 1836, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Harriet and Walter met and married in Australia where their first child Elizabeth Ann Fraser was born, then returned to Canada where the rest of their children were born. David Albert Fraser died 02 Jun 1908, Worcester, MA and Nora Steeves Fraser died 28 Oct 1912, Boston, MA they are both buried in Cawles Memorial Cem., Ipswich, Essex, MA. I have photos of David, Nora, Maude, and Leon Raymond Lord. David and Nora's sons are my grandfather and 1st born Alister born 22 Nov 1893 in Cambridge as was his brother Walter (not Howard) 19 Jan 1895 also born Cambridge. David was a streetcar conductor, Nora was a seamstress. The only Howard was my grandfather Alister's son who died when 7 days old. Alister married 26 Nov 1914, Somerville, Middlesex, MA to Gertrude May Ryder born 09 May 1891 Cummiquid, Barnstable, MA (Mayflower descendant) Gertrude parents are Wilson Everett Ryder and Carrie (Mary Caroline) Simmons. Their children Marie, Howard, Walter and Irene, their son Walter was a decorated WWII vet. (also my favorite uncle) Gertrude died young 17 May 1925 Tewksbury, Middlesex, MA. Alister remarried sometime later no children with 2nd wife Mabel Helen McIntire. Alister died 24 Dec 1970 and Mabel died Dec 1978. My grandfather Alister did not move to Salem till after my grandmother Gertrude died. Alister worked for the B+M RR till he retired. My great uncle Walter fought in WWI, married? Eva Helene Kellick b: 22 Oct 1901 Rockport, Essex, MA, Walter died 25 Jan 1963 Ipswich, Essex, MA, aunt Helene died 05 Oct 1964 Ipswich, Essex, MA they had 1 son Alister. My great uncle Walter was a machinist. There is and other piece to this puzzle we believe that Mary Jane Bazzley remarried a John Steeves after Elias died. Not that this will change the book written but this is the fact not the fiction. Many from the Bazley, Steeves and Milton lines came to MA when going through vital records have found many births, marriage and deaths with these names all born New Brunswick and our Fraser's from Nova Scotia as well.
