Greetings, The Pennfield Parish website has been updated once again. Here is a listing of what is new: What's new, October 23, 2009 Pennfield Rural Cemetery - added obit. for Helen Hall. Military History Pennfield Ridge Air Station (Photographs: RCAF Station) - added names to the last class to train at Pennfield Ridge. Pennfield Ridge Air Station (Roll of Honour - Pennfield Ridge War Memorial Service) - seventeen (17) photographs from Pennfield Ridge War Memorial Service (2006) added - thanks John. No.2 Air Navigation School (Remembering Those Who Served - added four (4) names for those stationed at the base. Vital Statistics Pennfield Parish Strays (Who Are Buried Elsewhere) - added obit. for John Vantassel. We recently acquired "They Shall Grow Not Old" that was published by the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum Inc. for our growing archive collection. This book was originally presented to the late Phil Connell by the authors, Les Allison and Harry Hayward in 1994 and contains notations throughout the book in Phil's handwriting. Phil was a former Veteran of Pennfield Ridge (1944-1945). We also recently acquired Course No.25 photograph from No.2 Air Navigation School, Pennfield Ridge for our collection as well.
