There is Crabb data on the Gorham mss at http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nbpast/KI/ki-gorham7.html Here is a rough outline of the early John Crabb family - needs a lot of work, but might help. 3. Hi Cleadie, I was curious about John Crabb since his son Richard Arnold Crabb/Crabtree had married a Mary Giggey. She is shown as being the dau/o the Loyalist John Giggey but no proof. Plus they appear to have moved around a lot from NB >Maine>Northumberland Co. NB>Illinois. There's a discrepancy with Mary's place of birth : Illinois censuses show New Brunswick while their son James, in a much later biography, said that his Mother had been born in Virginia. Well, you can imagine what this has done to the records.... just trying to sort it all out. If you have anything that might shed light on any of this, please, by all means, send it to me offline at [email protected] thanks again...
