    3. Can you give me the words before and after the names... Rose Staples UE [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of S. Hi List, I have a 1795 Deed with 2 different given names recorded on the document - which, of course, has led to a lot of confusion and speculation. It has "James Guiggy" in the title of the document but then "John Guiggy" is written in the record, itself. I had heard that the James>John were sometimes back then used interchangeably but I've never seen it before. Any thoughts?? 3. Hi Rose, The 1795 Deed's title is "*Tertullus Theall to James Guiggy "* ** Wording in the document... "*to us paid by John Guiggy, Farmer, and residing in the County of Kings..."* *.... " unto the said John Guiggy, his Heirs and..." *(written twice in 2 separate paragraphs) Shirley On Fri, Sep 4, 2009 at 6:39 AM, Rose Staples <[email protected]> wrote: > Can you give me the words before and after the names... > > Rose Staples UE > [email protected] > > > >
