I am tracing down the family of *John S Barker* ( 1831-1912) and my great great aunt,*Sarah Love Barker* (1840-1937) and their grandson *Charles Benjamin Barker* who was killed in WWI in 1918, less than 2 months after joining up. His parents were *Judson Barker*( 1861-1925) and *Isobella Bain*(1867-1918) who died three weeks after her son. i recall my grandmother telling me some 50 years ago that there was a tragic story there and I m wondering if anyone can tell me. I ll be thinking of him on Nov 11 as it seems noone else is likely to. But perhaps there were others in the family or someone might know where he was taken down.
