    3. Beverley, The War Memorial online shows a Charles BARKER d. 13 Mar 1918; s/o Charles William BARKER. Could this be him?? It shows his birth place as North Devon, York Co., age 26 - right age, same place of birth as on his Attestation papers and that he was buried in the Nashwaaksis Douglas Rural Cemetery. http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/remembers/sub.cfm?source=collections/virtualmem/Detail&casualty=2755847 It shows that he is on page 363 of the 1st WW Book of Remembrance - a copy of the page is on this site. The actual Book is in Ottawa with military guards attending the various Books of Remembrance. If this is him (although father's name is different than what you are showing), then you can email to the address shown on "to order a copy of this page..." and they will tell you which day of the year page 363 is turned and you can be there at that time.
