This is curious: I am researching a chap who was so stressed from his job that he got a Doctor C. Bayard of Saint John, NB to write him an Oct. 14 1880 note seeking a year's leave of absence...I was going to check Dr. Bayard's first name in the 1881 census, only to find he wasn't there...can anyone supply details of Dr. C.
