A few years ago, I seem to recall that someone was trying to make an index or transcription to this cemetery but could only get it published if enough would-be buyers subscribed in advance. Does anyone know whether this book ever made it off the presses? Is it available anywhere? Thanks much. Carol Norman [email protected]
Yes it was published. It's called: "Forest Hill Cemetery: A Biographical Index" and it was very well done (pictures; obituaries; etc). I borrowed it from a friend. I do not have a copy myself so, unfortunately, cannot do any look-ups for you. There is an online record for this cemetery made in the 1970's. It was not proofread. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nbyork/cem/foresthill-a.html Cleadie ________________________________ From: Carol Norman <[email protected]> To: newbrunswicklist <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, June 3, 2009 1:03:11 AM Subject: [ NB ] Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredericton A few years ago, I seem to recall that someone was trying to make an index or transcription to this cemetery but could only get it published if enough would-be buyers subscribed in advance. This website has been a huge benefit to me. I have lots of relatives buried there ie McLaughlin, Babbitt, Akerly, Smih. Thanks so much for putting it on-line. Looking for the parents of Arthur Welsford Bustard born January 3, 1864 who married Mary Ann Bartlett. On the marriage record it lists his parents as John and Hannah but another source lists his mother's name as Margaret and father unknown. Could Hannah be a nickname for Margaret. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Sue
