Hello George, I have checked the 1871 Census index and found two entries for Timothy Collins. With the first one is listed Ellen, Ellen, Patrick, Catherine, Julia, Timothy, Jeremiah, John and Hannah. With the second Timothy Collins the other names are Johanna, Michael, Daniel, Johnanna, Bridget, Mary, Cornealis and John. There is no mention of a Melissa in any of the Collins entries. Thank you, Irene. I now have the 1871 census entry for Timothy and Melissa. It turns out they had moved and were not in St. John County that year. Many thanks for looking for them. I do appreciate it.
