Hello Jim - Without digging out my entire Brown file, I can say that my BROWNS came out of England, traveled to Massachusetts Cape Cod area - then traveled to Maine where the majority took up residence on Vinal Haven - then moved south again to the Gloucester / Rockport areas of Massachusetts. Both born in New Brunswick, Canada and descendant from Loyalists. I have a document that was hand drawn ca 1850, that lists all of their children. It is rather fancy with hand-drawn flowers, all in color, with the lettering being calligraphy. I will share digital images with any descendants, and if I can locate a direct descendant of the male line I will pass along the original document, keeping only a digital copy for myself. It is now in a sealed frame with acid-free matting and UV-resistant glass.
