Another thing that may help you narrow down your results is the check box that appears way down at the bottom of the search box, where you specify which collections you want to give priority to for the display of the search results--Ie., let's say you are searching someone that you already know was Canadian, specify that Canada should be the prominent or priority collection. If that does not produce any results, then repeat the search but widen it by checking off "All Collections," and you may learn that your Canadian migrated to the US or some such.If you begin with "All Collections," then you may get 69 zillion hits in England, Australia, US, etc., etc. none of which may be relevant, and all of which take up an enormous amount of time to sift through.
