    3. Hi, folks, I saw this on another list and would like to help this researcher. So far I have not found this PANB reference. Can anybody help? Also, does anybody know what MC and MS stand for in PANB numbering system? I think F means a microfilm and RS means Records Series. Does MS mean manuscript? Thank you. Shirley Jane Johnston was 13 in 1852 ( born 4/11/1839 Fermanagh) Siblings were Mary Ann , Elizabeth, Joseph, James and Robert. They went to St John NB in the 1850s. I once found a PANB REFERENCE # MC1852 MS 53 for the Mary Ann 1 from Derry to St. John NB 1852 with them all on the list... if that makes any sense to anyone, please let me know. How can I find the passenger list again?

    3. MC1852is Manuscript Collection #1853 / MS is Manuscript # 53 These are paper files at PANB, and not searchable on the internet. It sounds like it is a passenger list. Most list are one or two pages long, and PANB will photo copy items like that for a fee.
