    3. For Saint John, the Saint John Free Public Library will do an obit search. http://www1.gnb.ca/0003/library.asp?Code=FM Right hand side - "send us a question" at the end of filling out the questionnaire click the box where you say "no" to sending it to another library. I would do an online search for the closest library to where your ancestor died and send in a request to them - they have the old films or they may tell you where to find it. The New Brunswick Archives http://archives.gnb.ca would probably have the year that you're looking for. Contact them and for a very low price, they would probably do the lookup for you. OR there is always random acts of genealogical kindness www.raogk.com where you can check to see if there is someone in the right county that is willing to do an obit search. They usually do it for free but once in a while will ask for a very low amount to cover their costs. Here's New Brunswick http://www.raogk.com/newbrunswick.htm just scroll down, find what you're looking for and click on the name. You can request 2 a month for each volunteer. For instance, there is someone in Charlotte Co. who is willing to do obits. Hope this helps. Shirley On Thu, Feb 17, 2011 at 4:36 PM, Suzanne Carter <splisson@nbnet.nb.ca>wrote: > Not online.
