I recently reviewed my family tree from Queens County at Ancestry. I found authors who had tidbits of information from my research and then others who had copied from them. The result was a cannibolization of family units. I am able to determine who originated what because of my extensive database. But it is crazy for others not in the family to simply copy. What a mess! We need to take more pride in what we publish.
