    3. Hi Shirley, Thank you kindly for your various clues and tips. It was a great surprise to me when I first discovered the report in Dan Johnson's collection about my gg-grandmother dying in Truro. I believe she must have been visiting her daughter Annie and husband Robert H Edwards, since it fits with various things that this couple (who are my g-grandparents) would have been in Truro at the time -- this was before they moved on to Halifax. Robert Henry Edwards was from Fredericton; his father John A. Edwards (1808-1896) was city treasurer in Fredericton for a time (around 1881 I think). I do not know of any Armour relations of my gg-grandmother Jane. I did at one time save all the ANDREWS related posts in the Johnson collection, but I have not searched extensively for the ARMOUR name. I will follow your advice and do some investigating in that direction. I should also ask at the Saint John library about possible obits for Joseph / Jane Andrews, in 1885. BTW, I did join the SJ branch of the NB Genealogical Society a couple of years ago, and am still a member. Thanks again, John Cordes On [2011-03-25 at 08:30pm] S.
