Hello Louise, that is, if you are still there. I recently read with interest your note to the web dated 1999 concerning your info request of the then O'Donnell clan in both Houlton ME & NB Canada. Although, I'm a tad late in fulfilling your request, I have the following: Following is a 'blurb' that I have posted to my family web site: (you may have seen it, its been 'out there' a number of years) John Herald Haggerty.... b: 24 June 1913.... m: Alice Gertrude O'Donnell, on 20 August 1945; she was b: 1925.... They 'honey mooned' in Boston MA....He d: 18 October 1946, Boston City Hospital, Boston MA, ulcers operation.... interred St Mary's RCCem, Houlton ME.... gravestone in place. Additionally, I met them in Boston during the 'honeymoon'. I was home alone one night, doing my college 'homework' when I responded to a knock on the door. Behold the 'honey mooners'. We all went out to dinner & visited the bright lights of Boston which inpressed Jack, no end. He took pix's. We were both very fearful of spending money which we both dident have. Jack & Alice stayed for a few more days, then they departed for Houlton. It was a great time as Jack, a very nice guy, was quite close to the Costello's. I went into the Army shortly thereafter & subsequently heard that Jack was quite sick & they were both back in Boston where Jack died from an unsucessful stomach operation. In later years I heard that Alice remarried & has now passed away. I hope that this message is not too late & is helpfut to the 'cause'. .... Hello Edward, I'm afraid I've received this message in error, I'm searching information on a different family, Hinds, from New Brunswick. Perhaps, my note on the message boards was closeby another seeking the information that you've provided here. sorry, Louise From: Edward D Costello <costello13@juno.com> To: bettlefc@nbnet.nb.ca; mearoost@rootsweb.com; odonnell@rootsweb.com; maine@rootsweb.com; NewBrunswick@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, September 18, 2011 8:35 AM Subject: [ NB ] Alice Gertrude O'Donnell & John (Jack) Herald Haggerty Hello Louise, that is, if you are still there.
