Sue: Not sure how the system works in NB, but any fatal industrial accident would have been documented and reported to the provincial department of labour and its safety board. The closest I could find, and to where you might want to direct a query giving the name and date that you have is: communications@ws-ts.nb.ca Hopefully someone there can look it up for you, or direct you to the appropriate source. The provincial coroner's office might also be a useful place to check, although I'm not sure what the limitations on disclosure are...the files are a matter of public record.
