    3. Ed, Doesn't look like they MARRIED in CT. Nothing on the CT marriage indexes that pops up. His son, yes, but not Francis/Frank II. Here are my "notes" on the family from looking for the specific record you noted: (believe following is Frank and Florence's son) Groom: Frank I Minnix (b. 15 or 20 Feb-1941, last known residence Shelton, CT - this is "Junior" or III) Groom's Residence: Woodbridge, New Haven, CT Groom's Age: 24 Groom's Race: White Bride: Rose M Piscioniere (aka Rosemarie/Rosemary, b. 15-Oct-1943) Bride's Residence: Shelton, Fairfield, CT Bride's Age: 22 Bride's Race: White Marriage Date: 27 Nov 1965 Place of Marriage: Shelton, Fairfield, CT Note: officiator Roman Catholic Priest >From family tree info on Bradley/Atwater/Keating/Kearney/Lee/Horrigan on Ancestry: Francis "Frank" I. Minnix, b. 08-Nov-1903, CT, d. 24-Jan-1969, CT, s/o Francis I Minnix b. 24-Jul-1876 or 1877 d. 22-Jan-1951, and Helen "Nellie" A. Carroll 1880-1959. The tree shows no marriage for Frank b. 1903. but he was buried at Saint Bernard Cemetery in New Haven, CT, in the Minnix Plot located in Section E off St Mary and St. Francis. Is it the 1903-1969 Frank you're seeking? Did find an obit index listing (full obit below) for Shirley Schleicher, b. 08-May-1934, West Haven, CT, d. 30-Aug-2010, wife of Robert Schleicher, and daughter of Francis and Florence Minnix. Had a brother, Allen (wife Barbara) and another brother named Frank (his wife, Rose - see above). Shirley and Robert were married New Haven, CT 27-Sep-1952. Full Obit: Ocala - Shirley A. Schleicher departed this life on Aug. 30, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in West Haven, CT on May 8, 1934 to Francis and Florence Minnix. On Sept. 27, 1952 she married the love of her life, Robert in New Haven, CT. Her passion for reading and books led to a lifetime career as a librarian where she enriched the lives of many in her community. She was also an avid gardener with a flair for color that attracted butterfly and birds alike. Her love and dedication to her family is what she will most be remembered for. Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert, son Bobby and his wife Pat, daughter, Barbara Gcntilozzi, son, Richard, brother, Frank and his wife Rose, brother Allen and his wife Barbara as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Interment will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860.
