    1. [ NB ] STOCKTON/HANNINGTON
    2. Debby Warren
    3. Would SKS have any information re STOCKTON family who may have lived in Petiticodiac area? I've found info that Vaughn Gerald HANNINGTON s/o William & Ella HANNINGTON was taken in by a STOCKTON family in the early 1900s. It seems they may have had a general store. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Debby Brown-Warren

    3. Barb, Well, I HAVE to say, if YOU have managed to square away all the GEORGE GARLANDS born in a five-year period around 1850 in Albert Co, NB, more power to you! I have one who supposedly married three times, but COULDN'T have, and one born 1851 and 1855, (George William), and several George W.'s, and a couple of George A.'s Any light to be shed on this mess? Cheers, Jared I knew I just should have listed Flora and her family and left it alone! :-) > Hi Folks > > I took a look through my database and found 2 Pearl Garlands and > Stephen Perley Garland. > > I have a Pearl Garland who is the s/o George A Garland but have no > other particulars for him. 3. Barb (et al), My interest (indirect connection) is through Stephen and Emma's daughter, Flora Arvilla, who married Isaac Newton Hanselpacker in 1899. They had four children between 1900 and 1905 (fast workers). Isaac is descended in the "Hanselpacker" line, as Isaac > John (1808) > John (1773) > Philip (@1750) (Loy.) > Johannes (@1725, Germany (Patriarch in American Colonies). 3. Hi Folks I took a look through my database and found 2 Pearl Garlands and Stephen Perley Garland. I have a Pearl Garland who is the s/o George A Garland but have no other particulars for him. Pearl -> George A -> David -> John -> John I have Pearl A Garland who married Sadie Collier. One of my co-workers is the grand daughter of this family. Pearl -> George W -> William -> John -> Sadie's sister, Ada Collier married my uncle Harry Garland and they lived in Bridgedale, Albert County Stephen Perley Garland was the s/o Stephen Garland and Emma Copp. Stephen Perley married Mary McQuad and Ethel Stiles according to my records. Stephen Perley -> Stephen Garland -> John -> John For any who may be interested, Stephen and Emma were the owners of the Garland Hotel in Elgin and were tangled up as witnesses in the Thomas Collins murder trials in the early 1900s in Albert County. So by my calculations Stephen Perley and Pearl (so George A) would be 1st cousins once removed. Pearl (so George A) and the other Pearl would be 2nd cousins once removed. Jared, I would be interested in communicating with you about your connection to the Garlands as I am close to this same group. Stephen (h/o Emma) is a brother to William and Moses both of whom are my ancestors. 1. Re: [ NB ] NB - POLLOCK - KNIGHT (Quaker) > Ontario
    2. Diane Donley
    3. Hi. I understand there's a Pollock sometimes spelled Pollack, who is somehow related to the Knight family. Does this help? I heard of an Uncle Allan Fleetwood BOND from Michigan, who came to Toronto visiting our Bond family during the 1950's, and would visit the 'Pollack' family up the street. Uncle Ally's dates were c1878 - c1956. While reading some of the Knight records, I found this person Moses, who may be of interest as possible parent of my Priscilla Knight. Allan Fleetwood BOND was one of Priscilla's 7 children. Priscilla's dates are 1836-1922. We understand she was born around Sharon, Ontario. She is buried with her husband, William BOND 1831-1877, in Newmarket Cemetery, Newmarket, Ontario. "....Moses Knight b. 9 Mar 1802, d. 1868, m. Sarah Pollack: went to Ontario". Do you have anyone who might fit in with this Moses and Sarah couple? thanks group, di Diane Donley, Sudbury, Ontario fadinggenes@hotmail.com BOND/KNIGHT, POLLOCK, VERNON, DAY _________________________________________________________________ Buy what you want when you want it on Sympatico / MSN Shopping http://shopping.sympatico.msn.ca/content/shp/?ctId=2,ptnrid=176,ptnrdata=081805
