Yes it was published. It's called: "Forest Hill Cemetery: A Biographical Index" and it was very well done (pictures; obituaries; etc). I borrowed it from a friend. I do not have a copy myself so, unfortunately, cannot do any look-ups for you. Greetings, Volunteers are needed for the cemetery restoration at the Harbour View Cemetery in Beaver Harbour on Saturday May 30th at 9 am. (rain date June 6th). We hope to put fourteen (14) headstones back on their bases and straighten up at least fifteen (15) more. We want to level and seed as much as possible. Also there are some trees and brush that need to be cut along the edges. So bring a shovel, a rake and a strong back. Let's do our cemetery proud! Regards, G. Christian Larsen President - Beaver Harbour Community Ventures Ltd. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nbpennfi/BHCVCemeteryRestorationProject.htm
Good Morning GEORGE: I'm sorry, but it turns out that I only have a bit on it, (it's actually corrections & additions to Wellington Ward, Division 2, p.63). It does not contain the name COLLINS. See NBGS Generations, Issue 61, p.53, fall 1994. I think there are copies at the Archives in Charlottetown. Cheers: CAL. On 5/22/09, George F. NBGS First Families index has: Phoebe Gorham, b. @1787, married Walter Moore and had eight children. This Phoebe is listed as d/o Jonathan Gorham, b. 25-Jan-1740, Stamford, CT, d. Apr-1824 and Mary Watters b. ?, d. Oct-1822. Jonathan was s/o George Gorham and Hannah Banks. Jonathan and Mary were married in CT. Hi List, According to Trinity Church Parish Records (Kingston Parish), Ann Gorum MOORE was chr 11 Oct 1812; parents were given as Walter MOOR & Pheby (Phebe / Phoebe) - maiden name GIGGEY. MOORE researchers have her Mother's maiden name as GORUM and not GIGGEY. Also, Ann Gorum MOORE supposedly married a Beverly VINCENT with children Mary Ann, Walter, Piwald?, Margaret Elizabeth & Mary. I did find Walter & Pheby MOORE on the 1851 Kingston Parish Census but not their daughter Ann and her family. Would anyone have this family in their records? Shirley

Dear List, If I remember correctly, the 1871 census for St. John County was transcribed and published. If that is correct, does anyone have access to the books? I am looking for a Timothy Collins with wife Melissa, and would be very glad to know where they were that year and what the entry for their household says. Thank you, George in Charlottetown
Oops, I forgot to look at the dates involved. It certainly may indicate that Eliza was the illegitimate daughter of Jane Foreman, who may have been adopted by Wm Clarkson after their marriage. If this is a direct ancestor, it would be a quandry. You may never know who Eliza's biological father was. Best of luck, Lisa Z
Sara, I have seen this quite often in the census, especially if a widowed woman has remarried. Her children are sometimes mistakenly enumerated with their step-father's name. This is probably the case here. Jane & Eliza were in the Foreman household, and were likely enumeratd accidentally under the surname of the head of household. The census is only as accurate as the census taker. I found something interesting re: Elizabeth Clarkson 1861 Census, Stanley, Div 1, York Jane Foreman age 23, living with father Robert. At the end of the list of Robert's children is Eliza Foreman, granddaughter, age six months. Do you suppose the infant Eliza Foreman took the name of Clarkson at the 1865 marriage? Sara ----- Original Message ----- From: Lisa Zajkowski To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, May 16, 2009 7:43 AM Subject: Re: [ NB ] Clarkson / Stanley Parish / Williamsburg An interesting note regarding Elizabeth being the d/o William Clarkson & Jane Foreman. William Clarkson & Jane Foreman were married (per York County Marriage Records), on Dec 27, 1865, in York County. If Elizabeth Clarkson were their daughter, she'd have been illegitimate by four years. More food for thought....... Lisa Z
