Cemeteries have spousal duplicated photographs. This means a photo which also has the spouse's maiden name showing, is duplicated and when one searches using the onboard search engine, for a surname, the spouse's surname will be reported as a separate "search result". * 2. If your "search engine" keyword is the same as a city, town, village, township then please read the valuable tips below: * A. *CONCERN:* If your "search engine" keyword you are using is say: pembrok* then your search will pick up all the pembroke surnames....*BUT* ...it will also pick up all the website pages where pembroke is used as a meta name. * B. *SOLUTION:* Change your keyword to pembrok1 and the search engine will only pick up the gravemarkers with the pembroke surname. * ASSISTANCE: ********** * 1. Should you wish to help out with this ongoing huge project financially or in other ways, please read the document located at: * http://www.gravemarkers.ca/assist.htm for more details. * * Best regards......Murray Pletsch * Cdn Gravemarker Gallery - http://www.gravemarkers.ca * Ontario Historic Gallery - http://www.rootsweb.com/~cannor * *********************************************

    3. Hi: Many thanks for the information you sent. It does appear to a march the parents that I had, but still no sign of Sarah. I did checkout the World Connect program and they had Marie marrying someone else. An interesting point was that Sarah's son William Iotte was born in Aroostock, Maine. There has to be a connection somehow. 3. I have George in my records with ?? regarding his place of burial. Lots of times, someone's name is on a tombstone but that does not mean that the person ended up being buried there - especially if there is just a birth date and no death date on the stone which I believe is what is shown for George. 3. I am searching for the marriage and parents of Jean Fabien Parant and Julie Lavoie whose daughter Sarah Rioux/Parant married John Doyle Iotte/Ayotte 22 Nov 1880, Caribou, Maine. Sarah was born abt Feb 1864 in New Brunswick, so I am guessing the parents were married there. Your help would be most appreciated. Elenore Kamloops, B.C.

    3. Hi Shirley Thank you for sharing. It was interesting to learn that Boston offered support to Saint John at that time as well as to Halifax again in 1917. We certainly have a solid social and historical connection. I'm thinking this morning what a wonderful contribution Ruby Cusack's collected works would be to our NB schools history curriculum. What an informative and enjoyable way for children to learn the history of our province and its' people. Cheryl ----- Original Message ----- From: "S. 3. How rivetting! Thank you so much for your kind notes. Now I have to go back through my notes/research files to clarify my thinking. I have a lot of old Saint John newspaper obits, news items and Great Fire of 1877 reports with pictures (written later). Plus old McLaughlin letters, pictures and memorabilia. Fortunately my grgrandfather saved them and I have inherited them (by persistence and cohersion!). What interests me most is that I'm pretty sure an unmarried Frost niece succeeded Sarah Caroline as Matron but I can't find who in my computer. And that annoys me as I like to think of myself as a very careful researcher who ALWAYS records her notes and sources. Many thanks for your input. By the way Sarah Caroline was a UEL descendant from Connecticut. Transcribed copies of her grandmother's diary (and mine but much later) on the voyage from CT to N.B. in 1783 are in the Saint John Museum. Bev On 10/18/09, S.
