    3. Hello. In February 1887, the RIMUTAKA sailed from Wellington bound for London. Does anyone know where it may be possible to locate more information about the passengers? I know the passengers are listed in the newspaper (Papers Past), but need more detail on 2 names that are listed and hoping that the actual passenger list or other publication may hold vital information.     3. Beth, you could try Ancestry.com for the shipping/passenger list. They have quite a lot of them on their site. Hope luck is on your side. Hi Beth I can't speak for outgoing lists from Wellington, but checked the incoming into the UK but found no mention of the Rimutaka in 1887/8 The first list for that ship is in 1891 What sort of detail were you seeking?
