Hello Avis Many thanks for your offer, though not quite as simple as it sounds, help is needed. I am one of the volunteers that are typing Funeral Service Sheets into a database for NZSG. Have one here that has no surname - details are. David/Dave ? 21 March 1929 - 1 May 2006 (death date) Officiating: Lynley McKerrow Funeral Directors J Fraser and Sons Doesn't give date of service If I contact J Fraser they will probably quote the privacy law to me, which happened the last time I tried a different Company. Can you please try and find a Surname for me, as I don't want to put him in as just David. Are you actually able to look through the actual papers? Hi Heather, I checked the 2006 deaths Southland Times as recorded on Dunedin Family History site. There were about 7-8 Davids but no one with death date of 1st May 2006.
