Annie WALE born Cir 1864 presume UK At age 19 she gave birth to Ann Eliza WALE on 26 Mar 1884 in Sydney. This child (my G/Ma) was registered in Sydney aged 3 months and it stated Mother Annie WALE, currently in New Zealand Ann Eliza, also known as Annie Eliza - Annie Liza - Ann Eliza. She took her Foster Parents name SAYNOR. She was "found" in shipping records going from Dunedin, New Zealand to Melbourne, Australia on the Westralia on 21 July 1902. On the 18 March 1903 a "Consent to marriage" was given (in Dunedin) when her and Grandad wanted to marry, he had been in the district 3 months and it stated permission given by her mother that piece of paper is missing in the court records. On her marriage to my Grandfather (who lived around the road from where she had lived with her "parents" in Melbourne) it said she had been in the District (Dunedin) 13 months. SO the questions are: When did Grandfather (William Arthur FRANKLYN) leave and Australia to New Zealand. Other than finding Grandma leaving Dunedin to Melbourne in 1902 I have never found her outward journey and her return to NZ journey Never found her mother Annie WALE in New Zealand, in Australia or leaving either country to go elsewhere.
