Hope all is well over in Texas and with the family? I have requested that our site be restore at least 3 times over recent months. Each time I am told that things have been taken down to make Rootsweb more secure etc, etc I'll try the link you suggested but I would have expected a more positive response from my original requests. Oh well. Keep safe. Based records. I do know someone in England has done some in depth research into Thomas Tollis, but, as some of my stuff is already packed away, I cannot check, but I think it did include Military stuff. I had included a brief precis of this in my Legacy programme, but was part of some stuff I lost at one stage, & not gone back to my paper files to reinstate it all. I am not on Ancestry, but sometimes use the Public Library edition. Will be great to be back living a normal life, it is the downsizing that is doing my head in, and I thought we downsized 10 years ago when we sold and moved that time. ( I am getting too old for this. ) Mary -----Original Message----- From: Jenelle McCarrick [mailto:jmac2014@antmail.com.au] Sent: Sunday, 15 July 2018 2:09 PM To: new-zealand@rootsweb.com Subject: [nz]Re: First Fleet Convicts Yes...did you get his military stuff..(on ancestry). Just great to start the day with positive research info'. , on a miserable chilly day. We have sold our property and move in about 12 days. i.e. I am supposed to be downsizing, packing up, not unpacking to find certain books etc ( or so I am told). After the move I will send for the Death, / Marriage, information / records for Betty / Elizabeth Atkinson, if I am unable to download all that is available. However, F.Y.I. Betty (Elizabeth) Atkinson, has thousands of descendants in N.Z. Elizabeth Atkinson Tollis ( dau. of Betty Atkinson & Thomas Tollis,) married at age 16yrs., Thomas Hansen, moved back to Bay of Islands , New Zealand, produced 11 living children. He was a Trader, Farmer, Builder, and probably anything else, needed to feed his family. The first Hansen Reunion was 1990, the second 2015 . The Hansen family was the first Pakeha ( non Maori) family to arrive ( 1814), and settle permanently in New Zealand. I also have the Book about Thomas Tollis written by Enid Bohlsen, written c 1990's . Must get moving on sorting etc. thank you again, Mary -----Original Message----- From: Gwyneth Watson [mailto:cannycot@gmail.com] Sent: Saturday, 14 July 2018 3:59 PM To: new-zealand@rootsweb.com Subject: [nz]Re: First Fleet Convicts That’s ok Mary, I’m sick in bed so helping to pass the time and I only have the books for a short time.
