Rootsweb are just starting to bring back the hosted sites, which were taken off-line along with all other Rootsweb facilities - including this mailing list - due to technical and security issues. Denise and Peter's site is a Rootsweb FreePages site, so is affected by this. Have patience, it is a huge job that is going to take time to complete. There is no way to predict when any particular site hosted at Rootsweb will come back.     3. Hi folks. Apologies for the unavailability of our site (we can't get there either) but we are restricted by the unavailability of Rootsweb. I have e-mailed them 3 or 4 times and receive, I guess, much the same responses you receive. Most frustrating. Applying before then would not have gotten you anywhere. Follow the proper links to request your site, if you haven't already, and you'll be added to the queue. It will still take some weeks.
