Hi All: Mrs Lily Hebe Ardagh has a WWI file in Archives series 22525 as a VAD or Voluntary Aid Detachment. Unfortunately not digitised yet, although I will get it digitised when Archives in Wellington opens after earthquake checking; supposed to be sometime in January. Series 22525 has a lot of personnel files for WWI for those in other (Australian, British etc) forces or for nurses and VADs. NZSG had a searchable CD/DVD of the NZ Gazettes, can't locate it in their library so have asked if it is still available. Alternatively we have here hard copies of the Gazettes over that period so could possibly do a manual search if necessary.
