Hi All: Archives in Wellington is reopening on Tuesday 24 January, having been closed for some earthquake checking. http://archives.govt.nz/ So a chance for me to get some WWI files digitised. While the NZEF personnel files in series 18805 have all been digitised, there are some in series 22525 and 7291 (e.g. Nurses & VADs, members of the permanent force, members of other forces etc) not digitised. Thanks for letting us know John, good to hear they are opening again. I was there when the earthquake occurred, so my planned week of research went out the window. Need to make new plans for another visit when I can. Nice to also know about the digitised files still going. Keep it up, earthquakes & natural disasters really show how much we do need all our records digitised.
