Hi I have just updated my Legacy to the latest update of December. Every time I go to start up Legacy I get the following Message: Headed - User Account control - Do you want the following program to make changes to this computer. Not sure what I have done wrong. Please how can I stop this happening. Jo

Yes. If you are planning on upgrading your Windows operating system to Windows 10, please note that Legacy Family Tree will run on Windows 10, but you might need to re-install it because upgrading the operating system can cause problems for programs. To do a fresh download of Legacy Family Tree Deluxe, please visit Download Legacy <http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp> and use your Legacy customer number to unlock the deluxe features. For older versions and earlier please visit Downloads for Previous Versions of Legacy Family Tree <http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00899/0> and use your customer number to unlock the deluxe features. If you get an error message when starting Legacy in Windows 10, try right clicking the Legacy shortcut icon on your desktop and go to Properties and then go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom put a check mark in the *Run this program as an administrator*. That will set the option permanently. Now try and open Legacy as it should open fine now. First of all Jocelyn are we talking about the Legacy Family Tree program from Millennia? If we are their latest version is this: Installed Version: 8.0.0.586 of 7 Dec 2016. I have no problems with it.  It may be better to use Legacy's Help from the Legacy program itself or pick up the Legacy User Group mailing list here: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp (copy and paste) or I'm pretty sure there's an archive there you can search for your problem.
