I have recently found an ancestor Francis Jane Plummer who married in 1872 in Thames and in 1877 married Robert Russell Trotter. NZ BDM have her first husband as Antone Drovin. Three children were born Fanny Edridge 1872, Frances Emily Edith, 1874 and Mary Matilda 1875. These children are registered as Dronin, with father as Antime or Antine Fanny died in 1874 at 18 months and the registration was Drouin. Frances Emily Edith (originally known as Drouin) marries Thomas Cole Donkin in 1897 and is registered as Dronin Registered BDM death in 1876 of Antine Dronin aged 33.
