Ships came to Auckland from many directions, including over the bar to Onehunga. Many of the ships coming to NZ came via Bluff, Dunedin etc. Your ancestors’ names may be in one of the Port Fairy passenger lists on Jenny Fawcett’s website http://www.hotkey.net.au/~jwilliams4/westdist.htm Hope this helps Graham Hoult Kirwee, Canterbury
