My gt uncle, Alexander Templeton was born in Auchinleck, Ayrshire, Scotland, died in NZ in 1921 having served in the NZ forces in WW1, and is buried at Waikumete. I am wondering if anyone is interested in seeing the few photos I have of him while in the NZ forces? They show his colleagues so someone may recognise an ancestor. I would love to know more about his time in NZ as 1 of his 3 brothers died in Melbourne and the other 2, including my grandfather, in Scotland. Best regards, Mary ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Sun, 12 Feb 2017 09:10:32 +1300 From: Ray Rob <[email protected]> To: Mary Paton <[email protected]> Cc: new-zealand <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [nz] Photos from WW1 (Templeton) Message-ID: <[email protected]om> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Hello Mary You may like to contribute photos and information on the website : http://www.aucklandmuseum.com/war-memorial/online-cenotaph/record/C91474 Best Wishes , Ray On Sat, Feb 11, 2017 at 7:39 PM, Mary Paton <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello New Zealand, > > > I have just arrived back in Western Australia after 6 years in Scotland > and was going through some photos.
