The 1927 marriage was apparently her first marriage, but perhaps she was not born with the surname Lockhart. No NZ Lockhart birth for Jane/Jean though. The marriage (from gradually restricting the date range searched) was on 3 October 1928. Jane Lockhart -b 19 Jan 1900 Queensland Father - James Bruce Lockhart - also listed elsewhere as James Bruce Forrest Lockhart Mother - Eliza Alice Pickup Both the above seem to have been born in Australia. Possibly both buried in Wanganui. They also had a son b 1896 - James Bruce Latta Lockhart And another daughter b 8 dec 1897 - Lilian Agnes Bruce Lockhart Both born in Queensland Although the birth does not give the unusual middle name of Latta, the likely sibling does have that name..
