PARR Who can find this family in the Census for England? http://www.freecen.org.uk/cgi/search.pl Dec. 1859 the ship Glouster arrived in Otago. On board were William Parr (b. c.1835), James Parr (?b. 1817) and Mary Parr. Brothers and sister. Edward Parr was born at Litherland, near Liverpool in 1843 . Back in England was another brother Edward (arrived in Canterbury in 1865), another sister Agnes (b. 1848), Elizabeth (b. 1834) and their father William Parr, SR. (came out after 1869). They all came out to NZ over and settled in Pleasant Point. William Parr, SR. of Westhead within Latham in the County of Lancaster, born c.1802. Thanks. I have not worked out their mother's name.
