Hi Murray, The following is from notes taken from the book "The Wellington Regiment NZEF 1914-1919". 10th April left Zeitoun by train to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force. The Taranaki Company embarked in “Itorus” and proceeded to Lemnos and the run through the Agean Sea. 15th April Arrived at Lemnos and anchored in outer harbour. Sunday 25th April The “Lutzow” with Battalion Headquarters and Taranaki and Ruahine Companies on board, arrived off the Cove at Gaba Tepe at about midday and by 6pm all had got ashore.
