I/have been hoaxed into trying to put my FT on line by one of these money making sites that advertise to list your family tree on line at no cost. I uploaded over a thousand names on my FT but found that only 250 names were put on line but they offered to put more on line if I paid. They now have more than a thousand names I supplied free but when I want to investigate other names, they say they have information on, they ask me to pay for it. /

Reminds me of a saying a dear friend once told me - 'there's no such thing as a free lunch!' In other words 'with every hand-out there's a price to be paid!' Cheers Ainslie.
