I knew there was a reason I don't use subscription genealogy websites... I just had a look at Ancestry's NZ BDM Indexes to see what all the fuss was about... It shows my father born in Southland and his brother [TWIN] born in Auckland... My grandmother must have earned a few frequent-flyer-points that day!... It also shows my siblings were born in Auckland... ALL above places are incorrect!
