That one maybe incorrect as found in Papers Past, if W. J. Garrett sailed here in 1922 and his daughter got married in 1908.. Maybe the other Garrett that was in Wellington, connected to the Carter family and other names. I have a book on a book by a Carter, not CRC of Carterton, but another Carter family that was in early Carterton.. which also has GARRETT in Wellington. W. Garrett, and not the one in Island Bay, so please just recheck it out.. Adele Clareville
