Ok I admit defeat !!! got to ask for help please. Frederick Edward SMith married Mary SMITH !! in 1887 in Christchurch have that info. HER parents were George SMITH and ElizabethADAMS and his parents were THomas SMITH and Caroline WISE. Cannot for the life of me find them coming into New Zealand. Now Mary was born in Wales and Frederick in Herefordshire so I have no idea if the arrived with their family or on their own and cannot find them either way?? I think George and Elizabeth and Mary were living in and around Coalgate/Glentunnel which means the family came but not sure about Frederick altho he ended up in Glentunnel as well. I actually am going stir crazy looking lol I HAVE THE INFO from Papers Past and have tried the NZSG cd. but I have to admit im stumped (possibly the hospital sedative I had in the last couple of days hasnt worn off!!) lol but really its driving me crazy never had Smiths before and dont want them again either lol thanks Patsy
