Hi Bryan: His records (and most WWII records) are held by the New Zealand Defence Force at Trentham. Tell them the details you have eg what you know of his military service etc; they supply one free file per year. http://www.nzdf.mil.nz/personnel-records/nzdf-archives/accessing-military-service-records.htm http://www.nzdf.mil.nz/personnel-records/nzdf-archives/how-to-find-contact-us.htm Yours, John Wilson Subject: [nz] Finding Records > Thomas William Jamieson, No 4313639, for a time, served with the RNZAF as > a > Medical Orderly. > > At sometime he had further training and was selected to work on the TSS > Maunganui Hospital Ship, The ship departed for its initial trip from > Wellington 21 April 1941.
