Hi Alan & All: I am told that existing downloaded military personnel files at Archives will continue to be avaliable as a single downloadable PDF file via "Derivative Copy" but that this will not apply to new digitised files. With an ordinary WWI file having say 7 to 15 pages this will mean downloading 7 to 15 files, with a security warning for each and a need to rename each page to something meaningful to me. Reading an online or downloaded file will mean having to open or download and open each page seperately. Plus the display of the page and information on my IE browser has the page or information restricted to a narrow band across the page rather than full-screen. What a pain!
