Would be grateful please if someone who has the NZSG Cemetery Records on Fiche could look up the following as I can not locate records for this Cemetery on line - FALLON William, 1924, Record No 3227, MI, Aged 40, Location Oamaru Cemetery S01.15 (should be on Fiche number 488-495). I think the above record should relate to the DIA Index Deaths 1924/782 FALLON William aged 46 years. (Date narrows down to 17 February 1924 although I note the difference in age recorded from DIA Death Index and Cemetery record). I could not locate a probate or newspaper Death Notice entry for the above. This William possibly married Margaret GOUDLING in 1922. In 1925 Margaret FALLON of Hilderthorpe is recorded as a widow on electoral rolls. This is not the William FALLON (possibly WW1 60922) who married Annie Elizabeth CAMPBELL in 1921. There appears to have been two William FALLONs in the Waimate Oamaru region 1914-1924 era. With Thanks, Jenny
