Have contacted Olwyn for the soldier mentioned, Philip Nicholas, buried at Featherston, photographs are on Cenotaph Auckland war memorial museum if anyone else is after a photograph from Featherston. still after many names for background history for the project. I shall be down at Featherston in a few weeks, they are not forgotten as each Anzac Day they get a lovely Wreath laid at the Obelisk, this is a monument in the cemetery with the name of each soldier that died at the Camp. reading the messages where is his wife buried? if she died at Masterton Hospital in 10 Dec. 1918. how sad lost a son in law and a daughter within weeks off one another. I know Edric Beetham Williams who also died in 1918, his wife and his brother are all buried at Featherston, Edric his wife and his brother went to help nurse him, sadly all died of influenza. -- Adele Pentony-Graham Carterton Cemetery Clareville Researcher Carterton Researcher. and Featherston.
