I have asked local councils to hold a register for any building moved out of town and where its going.. Feel this is project worth doing as so many folk are looking for old buildings, it would be so much easier for folk like us to ask a Council for help, just to make sure from time to time they are doing it!! Was asked if anyone knew where a church is in South Wairarapa built like a whale. no such luck so far, even asked a historian who used to do South Wairarapa he is now in Picton, thought anyone would know about it he would! Perhaps Jonah has it! Adele
