I can help you a little with further detail if you want to email me direct. But there are also other areas for information: One is this group if you want to pass on your interests; you’ll find many helpful suggestions and answers. Many have access to databases from the NZ Society of Genealogists. In much the way that I have found many helpful Australians since most of my lot are convicts! Second: Most of our City Councils have their cemetery listings online which are searchable. A good start might be here, if you know the area of your ancestors: http://christchurchcitylibraries.com/Resources/NewZealand/History/FamilyHistory/Cemeteries/ It gives links to most other councils other than Christchurch as well.
