Would it not be the different Churches who would own the registers? If that is the case one would need to approach them for permission to transcribe them, and if NZSG had a part in transcribing it may be them who gives permission ......just saying my tuppence worth!  I for one have Many old families in Christchurch I research and have found Beverleys contributions a great help, let us all stand behind her in support of carrying on her wonderful work!
