This connection is to the FITZPATRICK family from Cty. Tyrone to Canterbury and then NZ-wide. My Gt uncle William Thomas Fitzpatrick is buried in Hillsborough Cemetery, Auckland and has a recent marker stating his details and the text “Good Samaritan and Friend to the Oscar Dessler Family”. William moved from Koeke to Te Rauamoa sometime after the family farm was sold up 1915. There are Dessler’s in the same area.
