Hi, Article in Marlborough Express dated 24/04/2014: "The names and stories of those who served in World War I from the Nelson Tasman region have been immortalised in the digital world for all to read. The Nelson Provincial Museum yesterday launched a new database holding the stories of 2500 men and women who served in any capacity during the war." The database lists the names of more than 2500 men and women from the region who served during the First World War. The database is the end product of many years work by regional researchers and genealogists and includes nurses, soldiers, Padres, and those men and women who served with Australian forces, the Royal Navy and the flying services of England."
